The Cressi Pigtail Swivel is a valuable accessory for spearfishermen. It is designed to prevent the loss of catch, shaft, or line by reducing tension when a catch pulls on the line. One end of the cord attaches to your gun, and the other end attaches to your line. This shock cord helps dampen tension, providing an advantage over directly attaching the line to the gun, as it reduces the risk of the shaft tearing out of the catch when under pressure. The Pigtail Swivel allows you to unclip the line to either change your spear or to thread a fish off the mono.
