The DiveCatalog.com Finger Reel with Bolt Snap is a compact spool-style reel for deploying a surface marker buoy (SMB) or laying a guideline during a dive. It is offered in two line capacities, a medium 100 ft (30 m) and a large 150 ft (45 m), in high-visibility orange or yellow, and ships with a stainless steel bolt snap so the reel clips straight to a BCD or harness D-ring.
Who it is for
This reel suits divers who want a small, uncomplicated line tool clipped to a D-ring. The finger reel design is held between the fingers and pays out line smoothly. It is practical for SMB deployment at the end of a dive, for navigation, and for running light reference lines. Divers who prefer a low-profile spool can clip it to a D-ring for secure carry.
