The SureFire ST07 is a 7 in black remote tape switch for compatible SureFire weapon lights. The pressure-pad format lets the light be activated from a separate point instead of requiring direct access to the light’s rear control. Its short lead is suited to installations where the switch and light are mounted relatively close together.
A 7 in cable provides enough routing distance for many compact handguard layouts without adding the extra slack of a longer lead. The switch itself is a control accessory, so it depends on a compatible SureFire light and tailcap arrangement rather than operating as a standalone product. That makes interface compatibility more important than color or cable length alone.
The ST07 is a practical replacement or configuration part when the existing setup calls for a remote pressure switch. Confirm the exact SureFire light and rear-cap interface before ordering so the control can connect correctly.
